Anthology Mobile is the mobile application that runs on Personal Digital Assistants (PDA's) and tablet or laptop computers. It can display and collect data for your mobile workforce. Programmable - Our fully programmable application can handle requirements from simple data entry forms to sophisticated wizard applications. A rapid application development (RAD) tool is available. It supports forms with multiple tabs with wizard style navigation on each tab. Programmable button and control events and methods along with the soft-coded directives engine provide powerful control of navigation. An application can navigate to one of many screens based on specific information entered by the user.

Standard control objects like text boxes, labels, check boxes, list boxes, combo boxes, command, radio and picture buttons are supported on the forms. Custom control objects are also included so you can capture pictures, display and then annotate them, or capture signatures. A grid object is provided to show data in a spreadsheet style display. Data validation is provided at the control and wizard level so you can prevent mistakes up front.

Reliable - Anthology Mobile uses replication technology, not a continuous client server connection, to keep the data on the mobile device in synchronization with data on the server. This provides high availability, allowing you to work even in remote areas where a cell phone or Internet connection is unavailable. It can replicate on a schedule, on demand, or via a message from your central office. The replication system also checks your program and database versions with those on the Anthology Server and will automatically update your remote device. This ensures that your remote devices will always use the latest software. Robust database rules and features assure data integrity just like any enterprise database.

Adaptable - Anthology was developed using Microsoft .NET 2.0 for platform independence. You can run Anthology Mobile on PCs, laptops, tablets, PDA's and smart phones.

Secure - Authentication (ID and password) is required to access all applications and data. It also supports encryption of key data, like passwords, or the entire database. Features are available to prevent the running of unauthorized programs and lock the database if the device is lost or stolen. Security during replication is provided through authentication and data encryption for devices outside of the corporate firewall.

Versatile - Productivity is enhanced trough the use of barcode or RFID tag readers. This can help you maintain inventory in your warehouse, vehicle, or job site. We can read your existing barcode or tags on your inventory and translate them to your part numbers. It can also relate the part number to a picture for visual identification.

Anthology Mobile includes support for GPS and GIS routing software like Garmin. This allows you to plan your jobs with the most efficient route. GPS can provide real time vehicle location, speed and other data you can use to make smart business decisions.
